Terms & Conditions
Good books. Clear terms. Here is how we look after our readers, our authors and the work we publish.
Effective 6 October 2026 · English edition
01. The publisher
Globaltalents Publishing is the publishing brand of Globaltalents LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, registration number 2021-000995323. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Globaltalents LLC.

This is our business correspondence address. We operate online; it is not a bookshop or a designated parcel-return address. Please request return instructions before mailing a book.
These Terms cover this website and purchases for which Globaltalents LLC is identified as the seller, including our Globaltalents Publishing store. If you buy through an independent retailer, your sales contract is with that retailer. Publishing, translation, licensing, wholesale and other business agreements require separately agreed terms.
Our book programme includes forthcoming editions. An announcement, sample, reader-list registration or review-copy request is not an order or a promise of availability. A title is available to purchase only when an active product listing offers it for sale.
02. Orders & payment
Check the title, language, format, quantity and delivery details before paying. Product listings specify what is included. Print and digital editions are separate products unless a bundle expressly includes both. Cover previews may differ from the final edition; a material change to an ordered product will require your agreement or a refund.
Prices use the currency identified in the store or checkout. USD means United States dollars. The payable total, applicable taxes, shipping charges and available payment methods are shown before you submit your order. Any import duties payable separately must be disclosed before purchase. Currency conversion charges imposed by your own payment provider are outside our control.
Payment is due at checkout unless the particular offer expressly states otherwise. Payments are handled by the payment provider shown there, such as Stripe or PayPal. Do not email payment credentials to us. Placing a normal book order does not create a recurring subscription.
Your purchase is confirmed when payment is accepted and an order confirmation is issued. Keep that confirmation. You must be legally able to make the purchase, use an authorised payment method and supply accurate contact details. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will tell you and refund the unfulfilled part. We will not substitute another book or charge a higher price without your agreement.
Obvious listing or pricing errors may be corrected before purchase. If an error affects a confirmed order, we will contact you with the correction and the option of a full refund for the affected item, subject to your mandatory rights.
03. Delivery & preorders
Printed books: delivery destinations, methods, charges and estimated timing are stated in the product listing or checkout. We accept orders only for destinations offered there. Some editions are printed after ordering; any production time is additional to transit time and must be included in the stated estimate. A print partner may dispatch your order, but we remain responsible for our sale.
We will ship within the period promised at purchase. If no period is specified, we will ship within 30 days of receiving a complete order; any earlier legally required delivery deadline still applies. If we cannot meet the promised shipment date, we will explain the delay and offer a revised date for your agreement or cancellation with a refund. Where the law requires affirmative consent to a delay, silence will not be treated as consent.
Preorders: these must be labelled as preorders, with their expected release or dispatch date and payment timing shown before payment. You may cancel an unshipped preorder for a full refund. If the date changes, we will notify you and explain your cancellation options.
Missing or damaged deliveries: contact us with your order reference. We will investigate with the fulfilment provider and arrange the remedy due to you. Please check your shipping address carefully and tell us promptly if it needs correcting.
04. Returns, cancellations & refunds
No voluntary returns or exchanges: we do not offer a read-and-return service, satisfaction guarantee or voluntary change-of-mind returns, exchanges or refunds for delivered printed books, eBooks or audiobooks. This applies both within and after the first 14 days, except where a mandatory consumer right applies. Nothing in this policy removes rights for faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or undelivered purchases.
Statutory withdrawal for printed books: where applicable EU, EEA, UK or other consumer law gives you a withdrawal right, you may exercise it without giving a reason. For an ordinary printed book bought online, the applicable EU period is normally 14 calendar days after receipt; notify us within that period and send the book back within 14 days after your notice. Mandatory rules on the start or extension of that period remain unaffected. Standard print-on-demand production does not by itself remove this right.
Inspection and loss of value: a statutory withdrawal right is not a free borrowing arrangement. You may handle a book as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you could in a bookshop. Where the law permits and the required information has been provided, you are responsible for an actual loss of value caused by handling beyond that inspection, such as creasing the spine, annotations, stains or other use-related damage. Reading a book does not automatically cancel a statutory withdrawal right. Any deduction must reflect a legally recoverable loss of value; we do not impose a flat reading or restocking fee.
You can submit your withdrawal using our online withdrawal function. Review your details, then select “Confirm withdrawal”. We record your notice and send an acknowledgement containing its content and the date and time of receipt to the email address you provide. You can also download or print the receipt. Acknowledgement records your notice; return instructions and any refund are handled separately.
Email hello@globaltalents.net for the correct return address. An unequivocal cancellation notice is sufficient; no particular form or prior approval is required to exercise a statutory right. For a change-of-mind return, you pay return postage. We pay reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
For a valid statutory withdrawal, we refund the returned goods and the applicable standard outbound delivery charge, subject only to any lawful deduction for loss of value described above. An optional express-delivery upgrade is not refundable. We issue the refund within 14 days of cancellation notice, but may wait for the goods or proof of return, whichever arrives first. We use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
For cancellation of an unshipped order, including a delayed preorder, we refund all amounts paid for the cancelled items, including associated delivery charges. We initiate such refunds within seven working days, or sooner if the law requires. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
Exceptions: a genuinely personalised edition, such as a book dedicated to a named recipient, may be excluded from change-of-mind returns if disclosed before purchase and permitted by law. A standard signed or print-on-demand book is not automatically personalised. Digital editions are addressed below.
Problems with a purchase: tell us if a book is defective, incorrect, damaged or materially unlike its description. A photograph can help, but your rights do not depend on reporting a fault within the 14-day change-of-mind window. We will provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by applicable law. Discounts do not remove these rights.
Consumer protection: this policy does not limit any longer cancellation period, statutory guarantee or other non-waivable remedy available in your country, including applicable EU, EEA and UK consumer rights. For a single order delivered in parts, a statutory withdrawal period begins when you receive the last relevant item where the law so provides.
Optional cancellation notice
To: Globaltalents LLC, at the email or correspondence address above.
I give notice that I cancel my contract for: [title / item].
Order reference: [reference]. Ordered on / received on: [date].
Name and address: [your details].
Date: [date]. Signature: [only if sent on paper].
You may use your own clear wording instead.
05. eBooks & digital audiobooks
The product listing identifies the file format, language and material compatibility requirements. An available download is supplied through the store or order email after payment; a digital preorder is supplied at its stated release time. Contact us if a link fails or you receive the wrong file.
A digital purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to read or listen to the edition and keep reasonable personal backup copies. It does not transfer copyright or allow public uploading, commercial redistribution or sharing download links. Any rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected. Institutional, classroom and library licences require a separate agreement.
No voluntary digital exchanges or returns: eBooks and digital audiobooks supplied by download or streaming are not eligible for voluntary change-of-mind exchanges, returns or refunds after supply begins. Listening to or reading the content does not create a refund entitlement. Mandatory remedies for non-delivery, defective content, incorrect files or content that does not match its description remain available.
EU immediate supply and withdrawal: before an eBook or digital audiobook is supplied during an applicable 14-day statutory withdrawal period, you must separately and expressly consent to supply beginning before that period expires and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right when supply begins. We must provide the legally required contract confirmation, including that consent and acknowledgement, on a durable medium such as email. The right ends only when all applicable legal requirements are met and supply has begun. A pre-ticked box, payment alone or acceptance of these general Terms is not sufficient.
If the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation is missing, these Terms do not treat the statutory withdrawal right as waived. Before delivery, you may cancel a digital preorder for a full refund. Audiobooks supplied on physical media are subject to the rules applicable to those goods; the download provision above does not automatically apply to a CD.
06. Copyright & permissions
Books, excerpts, translations, artwork, illustrations and other original material belong to their respective rights holders. Buying a copy does not purchase publishing, adaptation, translation or merchandising rights. Website access does not grant a licence to reproduce or commercially exploit our catalogue, design or branding.
Uses permitted by law, including applicable fair use, quotation, criticism, review and accessibility exceptions, are not restricted by these Terms. For other uses, contact hello@globaltalents.net with the title, requested material, proposed use, territory and language. Permission is effective only when confirmed in writing by the authorised rights holder. Credit alone is not permission.
If you believe material on our website infringes your rights, identify the work, the relevant page, your interest in it and a way to contact you. We will review the report. Please do not send information you are not entitled to disclose.
07. Authors, reviewers & collaborators
Manuscripts and proposals: follow the submission instructions we provide and send only material you are entitled to share. You retain your rights. Sending material permits us to receive and evaluate it for the purpose of your enquiry; it does not grant publication rights, create a publishing agreement or guarantee a response. Confidentiality, exclusivity, fees, royalties and publication commitments require an express written agreement.
Advance and review copies: availability is discretionary. Receiving a free copy never requires a review, a positive opinion, a rating or a social follow. If you choose to review or recommend a complimentary copy, clearly disclose that connection where applicable rules require it. Your assessment remains your own. Please respect any embargo you expressly agree to and do not distribute unpublished files without permission.
Press and partnerships: supplied press materials may be used only within the accompanying permission. A conversation, automated reply or sample does not appoint someone as our representative or commit us to a paid collaboration.
08. Website & communications
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others, submit malicious material or interfere with the service. We may restrict abusive access while preserving any outstanding customer rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information. Reader Letters are a free newsletter; you can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter. An order or enquiry is not automatically a newsletter subscription. We may send messages necessary to deal with your order or request.
June is our digital assistant. She can help with information and pass on an enquiry, but cannot independently grant rights, enter publishing agreements or guarantee a refund decision. You can contact the team by email at any time. Do not share passwords, card details or sensitive identity documents in a chat.
External platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. We aim to keep information accurate and the website accessible; temporary interruptions or changes may occur. Changes to website content do not remove obligations arising from an existing order.
09. Legal provisions & updates
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury. Statutory product guarantees and consumer remedies remain available. These Terms do not require you to waive a lawful claim or accept compulsory arbitration.
Wyoming law and applicable United States federal law govern these Terms, subject to any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you as a consumer in your country of residence. This choice does not deprive you of those protections or require you to bring a consumer claim exclusively in Wyoming.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to apply to the extent lawful. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date shown above. The version and specific product terms supplied when your order was placed govern that order, unless you agree to a later change or the law requires otherwise. Save or print a copy for your records.
For questions, complaints, cancellations or permissions, write to hello@globaltalents.net. We will review your request and explain the next step.
